SYNOPSIS
Anti-Horror
is a motion picture that takes the viewer behind the scenes for the making of a
horror movie where the screams off the set are far more real than the screams on
the screen.
The
picture chronicles the third attempt at filmmaking for director Gregory Kane and
he is determined to do anything to complete the project.
Gregory and his small troupe of actors take a perilous journey to a
secluded location known as Ravens Hollow, which is haunted with legends of
cannibalism and historically gruesome murders.
The
production slips out of control when the participants are lured away from the
gruesome script and find themselves in the middle of a massacre of their own.

Interesting Tales From The
Set
The studio where Anti-Horror was shot is reported to be haunted. During shooting, strange occurrences plagued the production ranging from power failures, disappearing props, and strange noises.
The budget was so tight on this motion picture; it was necessary to roll spare change in order to compile all of the needed props and supplies needed to begin production.
Since production began during the summer months, the temperatures climbed to above 100 degrees. The air conditioning in the studio was not adequate and temperatures remained in the nineties well into the evenings. Make up and latex effects had to be shot quickly due to melting, and handling was difficult.
Raw meat and syrup were used for flesh and blood effects for realism. Combined with the sweltering heat, the stench became so repugnant that the
producer was forced to vacate the studio several times due to nausea.
Several factors added authenticity to the horrific script. Many elements of the story were kept secret from the actors in order for the cameras to capture realistic and true expressions of horror. Some shots inspired terror in the crew, and in one instance, while chained to a wall, an actresses screams turned blood curdling when the
studio suffered a black out during a crucial torture scene. The actress later confessed to having a phobia of being held in bondage. Another actress panicked as an actor brought a knife uncomfortably close to her flesh.
Many of the sets in the studio were created using mostly store bought fabrics.
The Ravens Hollow scenes were filmed in various locations in Tennessee and
Georgia.
